Windows 2000 Operating System to Windows 8 And Dot Net - .NET developmental

17th February 2000 witnessed the official launch of Windows 2000 which was based on the Windows NT Kernel thus giving Unix like Stability to the Operating System and also included the DOS emulator. It had new features like Enhanced Multimedia capabilities, consumer oriented PC maintainance options. Also was launched the new OS for the PDA, the Windows CE 3.0. Further launch of Windows XP and Windows Me and the Office XP took place in 2001.

A major progress made over these was the introduction of the Microsoft Windows Product Activation which is the Anti - Piracy Mechanism which requires to have the Copy of Microsoft Windows Operating System to be activated within 30 days, thus authenticating its originality.

New Way of Microsoft - Launch of Dot Net - .NET developmental

2002 followed the launch of Dot Net - .NET developmental products like the Microsoft Visual Studio and a complete new array of programming languages like the C#.

Then came the ingenious and most famous the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System and the Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Computer Operating System which features Multimedia capabilities and less with which was the Windows XP Starter Edition. The Windows Server 2003 came with Enhanced Administration Capabilities and new interfaces to Server Tools and thuse a big environment of Microsoft has come with Microsoft Windows Vista, The Windows 7 OS and the probable Windows 8 OS

Longhorn, which was the codename for Windows Vista, was launched on 30 January 2007 which was a major graphical change but based on Windows XP design and along with it was launched the Microsoft Office 2007. On the Server side Microsoft released the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Operating System and on the Programming side, Microsoft released the Visual Studio 2008 which were the next versions of Microsoft's Server Operating System and the Development Suite, respectively. As on 22nd October 2009, Microsoft launched the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System which is on current till date and probably Microsoft will be launching by 2012 - 2013, the next probable upcoming Microsoft Windows 8 Operating System and today which takes almost 10 year to progress upto this stage.
